Chinese tutor here, offering free help for pronunciation and tone correction

I see so many posts here asking for advice on how to pronounce certain tones or words correctly, or how to work on certain accent. Unfortunately for a lot of beginners getting feedback is the most effective way to learn. If you can’t find a native speaker in real life or online to help you do so, feel free to message me on Reddit and we can set up a time to do it on Discord. I’m not gonna charge you anything just for correcting some pronunciation because teaching Chinese is my passion and I love helping people.

There are some things I’d like to ask from you though:

  1. Please have Discord and PM me on Reddit.

  2. Please prepare either the text or pinyin of what you’re trying to pronounce, or the translation of the sentence in English. Some time people send me a recorded audio of repeating the same syllable multiple times and there is no way for me to tell what she/he is trying to pronounce because the tone can be very off.

  3. Please be a respectful and polite person. I’m just trying to help. I’m pretty busy already but I’ll do my best.

  4. Serious learners only. If it’s something that can be solved easily by simply googling it then you don’t need me at all.

  5. If you have your own Chinese teacher or Chinese friends in real life or online then you really don’t need me either.

Thanks.
