I am a first year college student and I’ve been studying Chinese for a while. Since Chinese New Year is coming up quickly, I wanted to give some of my Chinese professors (who recently came from China to the States) gifts, especially because this will be their first ever year working on the day of Chinese New Year.
I’ve looked up appropriate gifts and had things like fruit and alcohol come up, but I figured these would be kind of troublesome to take to my uni (especially the alcohol) so I was wondering if there are any other gifts that would be appropriate for me to take to a professor.
