I currently work in the technology industry, but my initial degree was in Economics and Chinese Studies.
I have a HSK level 5 certificate, and have still been practicing the language in my spare time. I still have relatively strong conversational skills in Chinese, and can read and write reasonably well.
However, I am trying to identify opportunities to actually use the language professionally - I have used it for the purpose of communicating with some Chinese clients but not extensively.
What would be the best way for a young professional to apply their Chinese skills? I spent a significant amount of time studying the language, and would like to be able to use it to its full capacity.
Any advice appreciated!
