Fun poem - 'Mr Shi Eating Lions'

The poem was written by Yuen Ren Chao many years ago. When there was a need for Pinying, he wrote this poem to demonstrate the need for tonal differences. If there were no tonal marks, the entire poem would be written as shi shi shi shi shi...

It's quite interesting to listen to and whilst I don't know all the words yet, it's fun to share with friends and teachers alike. We all end up stuttering and getting stuck, so it makes for a good laugh as everyone gives it a try (and it's a great ice breaker!).
