Okay so I am getting a bachelors degree in Chinese studies with a minor in area and ethnic studies. I plan on getting a TEFL Certification after I graduate so I know I’ll be able to get a job in Asia teaching English, but my dilemma is that I don’t know what kind of job I could get as a backup here in the states. I’ve asked for advice on r/advice and was only told I would not be able to find a job in the states with this degree, but I know there’s got to be one even if I have to add another minor. Is there anyone on this subreddit that might be able to help me find careers to search?
