I do a variety of things right now
1) listen to ChinesePod lessons to work on my listening
2) review flashcards and try to integrate them into sentences often to text my native speaker friends
3) speak sentences to native speakers to work on pronunciation
I pick up a lot of grammar rules but I haven't been memorizing them. For example the sentence structure 他的中文比你的中文 I didn't try to memorize it just sort of happened. And like 我在餐廳的時候吃飯. But there are a lot of others I forget.
Do you guys find it helpful to try and drill these sentences structures via flashcards or what? Or should I just let it come naturally?
