I’m currently watching a variety show, and, after several shows, I kept reading the same bodily verbs used in its special effects. So, I decided I should learn them, and created a map as shown below. I added some extra words into the mix as they are closely related to the other ones.
Below, you will find two maps. The first one is in English, and acts as a “guide” to show how the second map, in Chinese, is structured. In terms of meanings/definitions, this map is not perfect, for obvious reasons; nonetheless, it can hopefully serve as a visual memory aid. It’s really not necessary, but maybe native English speakers will find this map helpful. Then, in the second map, I included the pinyin of each character, since many of these can be easily confused. I included some example sentences in the end. If there are other words that you know of, comment down below!

瞥 (piē)：目光很快地掠过。
摀〔捂〕(wǔ)：遮掩；密封起來, 使其不透氣
捂 (wǔ)：严密地遮盖住或封住。
撇 （piě）：下唇向前伸，嘴角向下倾斜，表示轻视、不高兴等情绪。
撇 (piē)：丢下不管；抛弃。 或者 取出液体表面漂浮的东西。 或者 从液体表面轻轻地舀。 或者 生硬地模仿某种腔调。
噘 （juē）：（嘴唇）翘起（翹起嘴唇, 表示不滿意或不高興等）
撅 (juē)：翘起
嘟 (dū)：（嘴巴）向前撅着 （使性子或撒嬌時, 將嘴向前噘起）
抿（mǐn）：（嘴、嘴唇、翅膀等）略微闭上。 或者 抿著嘴唇喝一點兒
咧嘴（liězuǐ）：嘴角张开向两边伸展。
噎（yē）：食物等塞住喉咙。 或者 因痛苦、激动或顶风而喘不上气来。 或者 用话顶撞别人，使人受窘而说不出话来。
咽喉（yānhóu）：咽和喉
咽（yān）：消化和呼吸的共同通道。位于鼻腔、口腔的后部，喉腔的上部，主要由肌肉和黏膜构成。分为鼻咽、口咽、喉咽三部分。通常跟喉头合称咽喉。
咽（yàn）：使食物等通过咽头进入食道。
咽（yè）：悲哀得说不出话来；因悲哀而声音阻塞。
蹦（bèng）：双脚齐跳；泛指跳。
沙哑（shāyǎ）：嗓音干涩、低沉，不圆润。
拷（kǎo）：刑讯时用棍棒打；泛指用刑具逼供。
