Hi, I’m about two thirds of the way through the hellochinese curriculum, which uses both pinyin and characters next to each other under my current settings. I feel that I am learning a lot, but my issue is that I am not learning the symbols but rather the pinyin. Of course I can’t just turn off the pinyin or I would be completely lost. Should I restart only learning with characters or can this be something I do later? Thanks.
