Interested in learning Mandarin just need some advice on whether to go to a class or just use online resources.

Basically the title,

The university I graduated from offer a Mandarin learning program which takes approximately 3 years to full complete (3 levels, 2 classes for each level). I was thinking of going to this class over using online resources because I have always liked classroom environments for learning topics I have absolutely 0 previous knowledge of, however I am quite skilled in being able to self-teach a variety of other topics. Would you guys recommend I do the class? Or should I utilise a renowned online resource?
