I've started getting into reading some more advanced texts like news articles. I keep finding a lot of more formal variations of more simple words (e.g.: 為什麼 → 為何) or words that share the same character, like 此前、此刻、此時、此次. It can be a bit hard to get the exact meaning of some of these words, or tell them apart.
Any good resources (online or books) for learning the kind of words that appear in articles or formal writing?
