Chinese *word* etymology?

Where's the best place to find the etymology of full words, especially polisyllabic words.

I know I can use hanziyuan or some other dicts to find the etymology of single characters. But I'd like to find some kind of resource that explains, for example, why, 感冒 is composed of those two characters, ideally it would even show when it was recorded first in that form, where, by whom, etc. But that's secondary for me, atm.

Thanks!
