Use of 在 to describe academic studies

I'm not quite sure about the proper use of 在 to describe certain kinds of academic research.

For example, suppose I wanted to quote a paper written about "the concept of analogy in War and Peace". Would this usage of 在 be correct?

(...)比喻的概念在《战争与和平》

If not, what could be a better option in this case, in your opinion? 于?
