Private tutor / classroom

Does anybody know if there is a scale which defines how many class hours with x number of people equals one private class hour?

I don’t really know how much private hours I should take. I saw that IUP has 3 hours of 3-on-1 a day + 1 hour of 1-on-1 a day, does somebody know how that would equal to only 1-on-1 lessons a day?
