Hello, I recently took a Chinese test to check how my progress was. While my listening and reading was pretty OK, I forgot how to write many Hanzi which I learned a while ago. Back in the days, I heavily relied on Skritter to learn these, but I really dislike their new app and web client (one of the biggest reason for my slack). To get back to learning characters, I wrote a free Anki addon which allows you to do Chinese writing quizzes in Anki. It uses the awesome Hanzi Writer library for the writing itself, I merely integrated it into a proper add-on. I personally like to have all my vocabulary and sentences in Anki, that is also where I track my progress regarding to e.g. known words and characters. Right now, only writing single characters works, I am working on adding support for writing whole words. It would be cool if people could try it and give me feedback how usable it is/where it still has rough edges. You can request features/report bugs e,g. here or on the Github repository of maobi . It might be the case that I overlook comments on the Anki addon page itself, as I do not receive notifications for that. [link] [comments] |
