Intermediate reading resources?

I've reached a point where reading simple dialogs and texts aimed at beginner learners is very easy. For example:

• the integrated chinese textbook readings
• the "Mandarin companion graded readers"

Reading native material is still too difficult, though.

The closest I've found to what I'd like is slow chinese, and I was hoping for some other reading resources of a similar level.
