For those of you who have tried both, how do they compare and contrast with each other, and which one would you recommend and why?
Both of these are subscription services, with Chairman's Bao at $10/month and ChinesePod at $15-30 depending on the package. Both of these have a ton of content: ChinesePod appears to have 3204 lessons and Chairman's Bao has 4644 lessons.
Given that both are subscription services and that both have so many lessons, I don't think I would want to subscribe to both, as one will be able to last me a long time.
The biggest difference I can see right away is that the Chairman's Bao appears geared towards graded reading (although it has an audio component for each article), while ChinesePod appears to be geared towards conversation.
