Hey. I'm going through sample sentences that talk about how 越來越 is usually used. I came across this one though that gave me a flashback for 得:
表姐考試考得越來越糟糕.
The sentence is translated as "My cousin is doing worse and worse on her exams." I understand that, but I was thinking how to explain to myself in my head how a set word like 考試 is used with 得. I remember pattern with 得, and seeing a sentence like "他說中文說得很好." That is just with a single character like 說 though, not a set like 考試, which I think is a verb-object pair right? Can anyone provide a quick recap as to how this works? Thanks.
