怎么说我也是

Hello I stumbled on this phrase while watching movie:

怎么说我也是这电影的主要演员...

Wich was translated in the english subs as:

"Anyways I am the leading role of this movie..."

Is 怎么说我也是 a common pattern? I can't find in dictionaries... is it similar to 反正？

So far example could I say: 怎么说我也是你的爸爸，你一定得尊敬我

反正我是你爸爸，你一定得尊敬我
