Hello everyone, I’m so happy I found this community on reddit. I’m currently taking my first semester of Mandarin in college right now and the struggle is killing my enthusiasm for learning this language. I tried everything from flash cards, Quizlet, sentence memorization etc. but I can’t seem to memorize the characters. I almost dread going to class now because I just feel lost and not understanding the foundational basics. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
We use Integrated Chinese Vol. 4 for our class.
