Words and phrases to speak more like native Chinese 01

Hello there! I'm a native Chinese speaker and studying English now. Recently I found what I've learnt from textbooks are not common in you guys' daily lives and I really want to change the way I speak, the vocabulary I use and forget the "Chinese English" I learnt. The languages that make me more native I know now are little, for instance, LOL, ASAP, TFW, etc.. And I know you guys might feel odd reading my sentences as they are not from a native English speaker (Just like the feeling when I read short articles written by foreigners). So my recent solution is that I write posts about some words and phrases mostly and often used by Chinese young people both in daily life as well as on the Internet. You guys could comment me anything using your popular words. I think it may be a good studying way for English and Chinese learners. (↑If you feel strange about some of my sentences, you can just point it out!) BTW you should know that: All posts about popular Chinese words and phrases need basic knowledge of Chinese or at least you should recognize the characters. All posts will not involve any dirty words. (But if you're so angry about things happened around you when you are in China I could teach you how to counterattack...) Words and phrases are randomly chosen however if you are interested in some words are not mentioned in posts, just ask me and I will tell you what it's mean. Although I come from HK and can speak Cantonese, I am living and studying in mainland now. People around me are all Mandarin speakers. The words and phrases I post are commonly used by Mandarin users. Thanks for reading such a nagging description! And here's main content↓ 怂 sóng I'm afraid. Have you guys ever seen tattoo on Justin Bieber? This character contains two Chinese characters: 从 and 心. 从心 means follow your heart horizontally however it means I'm a coward vertically. ←That's the reason why we laugh at Bieber's tattoo. Recently 怂 is a cute word to express I dare not do this because I'm afraid. For example: “我们一起坐过山车吧！” "Let's ride the roller coaster!" "不不不，我很怂的。" "Noooo I'm afraid of that thing." “嘿，你喜欢的男生来了，向他表白吧。” "Hey! The guy you have crush on is here. Just tell him you like him!" "还是算了，我很怂的，万一他拒绝我怎么办？” "Forget it. What if he turns me down? I'm scared." 巨 jù It's a cute word to replace 很 or 好 and highly emphasize the adjective after it. For example: “那只狗好可爱！” “那只狗很可爱！” "That dog is so cute!" "That dog is really cute!" “那只狗巨可爱！” "That dog is soooooooo cute!" 蛤蛤 há há Same as 哈哈 and LOL. The pinyin of 蛤 is há and is similar to 哈 hā. 蛤蛤 is often used on the Internet. A cute way to laugh. You can type any numbers of 蛤 you want. The more 蛤 you type the more happy you want to express. For example: "这个故事也太搞笑了吧！蛤蛤蛤蛤蛤蛤蛤！” "This story is sooo funny! LOL!" 卧槽 wò cáo OMG it is sooooo expensive and i can't afford it Actually this word come from F word but now it only expresses OMG (if you type and pronounce it properly). If you are really shocked and 卧槽 cannot exactly express your feeling (just like Janice in Friends said Oh My God), you could say 卧了个大槽. For example: “卧槽！这只猫也太丑了吧！” "OMG! What an ugly cat!" 再见 zài jiàn Official definition: Goodbye Actual meaning: We're not friend anymore Yep it is the same 再见 as what you learnt in your first Chinese lesson. As a matter of fact, not many Chinese use 再见 in daily life as well as on the Internet now. It is too formal and if we really want to say bye formally, we would rather say 下次再见 or 下次见. Normally we just say byebye (English prouncation) to friends. We use 再见 as a joke between friends meaning you're so mean and I don't want to see you again (goodbye!). It's really really a kidding word so please don't take it seriously. For example: “你竟然说我家猫丑？再见！” "How dare you said my cat is ugly! We're not friend anymore!" 鸭 yā Hug me plz 鸭 recently is equal to 呀 (same pronunciation). The only difference between 鸭 and 呀 is that 鸭 is more lovely than 呀. I think it simply started from photos of Donald Duck and people thought it cute so... For example: “苍天鸭！我丢了钱包！” "My goodness!
