Audio for improving listening comprehension? (Intermediate)

Any recommendations for audio (e.g. podcasts, lessons, mp3s, apps, etc...) to improve vocabulary and listening comprehension?

Mandarin was spoken in my household growing up, so i have a base level of grammar and functional vocabulary but I have trouble understanding more complicated words.

Would prefer something I could listen to rather than train with flash cards — ideally something that says the word in mandarin, the English definition and then uses it in a sentence (in mandarin).
