Has anyone been using the Outliers dictionary/method in Pleco for learning characters/vocab? I got it last night and have gone through 2 of 5 pages of HSK 1 characters to see if I would have any epiphanies, but I’m really struggling to understand the most efficient way to use this to progress with HSK material in an efficient manner. I don’t know that searching such disparate characters is the best way forward.
Has anyone as a relative beginner or intermediate really found a way to benefit from the material in terms of remembering characters and the associated sounds?
I was using Zizzle to remember the characters and sounds and tones quite successfully, but it has its difficulties with some characters and the complicated stories required sometimes.
How can I use this best, and how have you been using it? I have the Essentials edition.
