I have ignored tones for way too long/review

I am starting my first year of high school and have been taking Mandarin in school since 4th grade. I was recently accepted into Mandarin 3H, the best class I can take for my grade. I had never paid any attention to tones because my teacher didn't require them on tests, but after speaking to natives for a little while (and then them commenting on my horrible pronounciation) I finally came to the realization that if I am going to learn the language I need to know tones. I barely know how the tones sound, though, and need help with how to remember them. I would also like to know if, before school starts again, there is anyway to review and remember old words/grammar I have forgotten. If you have any questions you can ask. I really want to start the year off right. Thanks!
