How to improve reading speed? (native speaker)

Hi. I'm a native chinese speaker. My reading speed is really slow, even though I know how to read all the words. How can I improve my reading speed? Not trying to be the best speed reader or anything, just wanna get through the novel I'm reading but not at a snail's pace.
