HI, r/ChineseLanguage and fellow Chinese language learners.
I have seen a lot of language learning subreddits with a list of rescources on the sidebar or on the top of the sub.
There is a kind of rescource list here already on the side bar under 'how to start' but I feel like it is outdated and doesn't have alot of the commonly used rescources nowadays. Also most people started using the new lay out of reddit which doesn't even show the list unless you pin it.
The goal of this list is for other learners to discover rescources, especially beginners
So here is a list with alot of really helpful and most importantly free rescources, with a description of the rescource.
grammar
-Chinese Grammar Wiki Grammar points listed by level https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar/Main_Page
-Chinese zero to hero Youtube channel explaining a lot of grammar points.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ3IlLg5VGeydxtswBoyt6A
Vocabulary
You can get the HSK lists, HSK is the official proficiency test for chinese speakers overseas. It is separated into many levels, and you can use the vocabulary lists of those levels to learn words, there is a lot of useful vocab in there! You can learn words with a program, to be able to memrise them better, like Memrise, or Anki. Don't forget to also learn words you have come across, don't rely only on your vocab lists! Here you have HSK1 on memrise: http://www.memrise.com/course/1083493/
Listening

You can watch shows, and tv series and films with subtitles, wich is really helpfull aswell.
other
-pleco! USE THIS!!! haha. It might be the most Popular app in the chinese learning community! It is a dictionary with many functions! This is freen on android, and to be honest it shouldn't be but, hey you don't hear me complaining.
-these youtube channels:
https://www.youtube.com/user/ChinesePodTV
https://www.youtube.com/user/learnchinesenow
-dig mandarin.
They have rescources and information on alot of different area's such as grammar, vocabulary, pronounciation and more.
-chinesepod
*This has a lot of purchases you can make to better your experience with.
But it is a really great podcast and you can do everything with it. Forexample: it has a built-in flashcard system for new words you hear. Your listening comprehension can get better. And you learn a lot of grammar since often their videos/podcasts are about a grammarpoint.
-Hellochinese This is a Chinese learning app. Me and a lot of others discourage duolingo for learning Chinese (I'm not talking about other languages, only Chinese). But it has limited content, so after you finish this app, you have to find your own ways to learn, so don't use this app alone, use other rescources to speed up your learning, and to develop your own learning style! Also This is not an all in one rescource, so please dont use this as your only rescource!!!
-skritter This program helps you so much to learn to write chracters, and learn new characters. This also works for japanese.
And last but not least r/chineselanguage:)
Textbooks *not free
integrated Chinese
This is really popular and pretty good. here is the level 1 book:
https://www.amazon.com/Integrated-Chinese-Level-Part-Workbook/dp/088727640
And here you have the HSK standardized textbooks, the HSK1 book, you can search for higher levels.
##THIS LIST IS INCOMPLETE AND THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER GOOD RESCOURCES, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONS I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ADD THEM TO THIS LIST JUST SAY:) Any feed back is appreciated
Hope i have helped out someone here or made a difference:)
