Tutoring question.

Hey everyone. I'll make this short. I just started my studies. I'm still in the pinyin stage. I was gifted an italki gift card from my brother and wanted to know if I should wait to do lessons with a tutor until I have more of a foundation in the Language or If I should start immediately. I have enough for about 12 Lessons with one of the cheaper tutors and not sure how long into my studies I should wait to use them. The gift card does not expire. Thanks
