"最有意思的是北京人骑自行车的比坐汽车的多”
The 的 after 自行车 I understand that this is following the 是...的 structure which follows on from the “most interesting thing is..." to put the focus on "Beijingers riding bicycles".
I just can't help but feel that this is clunky as it is then followed by a 比 comparison and yet another 的. Is this normal/colloquial?
On a side note, I imagine that there are today much LESS people riding bicycles than there are those driving cars in Beijing!! xD
