I was telling my teacher that I bought tea leaves and an ice cube tray so I could make iced tea at home, but my freezer doesn't get cold enough to make ice. She asked why don't I just go out and buy some ice. I wanted to express "if I have to go out and buy ice, I might as well buy a bottle of tea." I didn't know how to express "might as well as," so this is as far as I could get:
要是我得去外面買冰塊的話 I might as well as 買一瓶冰茶.
Is there a grammatical form for this in Chinese?
