The charm of “成语”(Chinese idioms are a unique language treasure you have to learn)

Why should we learn Chinese, and if so, what should we learn? I think the answer is obvious, after mastering the normal communication of everyday language, learning to use idioms in sentences is a very good thing. The idiom, usually four words prevail, is very beautiful. Chinese is the language with the most idioms in the world, which is difficult to catch up with in any country. Chinese idioms concentrate the essence of ancient Chinese traditional culture, each idiom contains extremely rich and profound historical culture, each idiom has its allusions, origins and meanings. Each idiom carries the ancient Chinese people through thousands of years of formation of the philosophy of life. Today, in the 21 century, idioms, as precious national cultural heritage as living fossils, still play an indelible role in our lives. Idiom, is a kind of idiom, it is the meaning integrity, structure stereotype, express succinct, meaning abundant fixed short sentence, they are four character case, concise and comprehensive, full of expressive force. An idiom is also a special language of Chinese characters. If anyone wants to translate this short idiom into English or other languages, at least he has to pile up a large group of letters, which is not necessarily accurate and appropriate. Some idioms are the wisdom of the ancients to speak, and then people according to the original or original meaning of the speech, they take the essence of condensation or quoted up, so that future generations learned from the wisdom of their predecessors. How many idioms have the Chinese created and accumulated in thousands of years of culture? scholars may be able to figure out, however, that ordinary "cultural people" are far from being reached. I have several idiom books and dictionaries on hand, but in my opinion, either Daquan or the Dictionary, I am sure, will leave out a number of idioms, including, of course, those created by the people themselves. Anyway, learning some idioms is very helpful to one's cultural level. I once heard someone who was a high school teacher say to me, "if a person can recite or use a few or several dozen idioms in the right place and in a speech, then his cultural level is quite remarkable." I very much agree with the words of friends, so in many occasions when talking with people or writing articles, the appropriate use of a few idioms, just the right idiom has really played a role, so that the other side can respect you.
