Long story short, I'm looking for a different way to say 有志者，事竟成, a Chinese proverb basically meaning "Where there's a will there's a way".
This is because I want to get a tattoo with Chinese characters, and I want this exact meaning.
The problem is that when I ask my Chinese friends about this specific phrase, they laugh and say that the phrase itself is too cliché (I imagine like English speaking people getting a "No Regrets" tattoo). When I ask them for a different wording but with the same meaning, they can't really come up with anything helpful, so now I'm turning to the almighty reddit for help.
Pleco says that 世上无难事，只怕有心人 is around the same, but I personally think that proverb is too long and not as eloquent as the first example.
I am aware that by now it is a cliché for a foreigner to get a Chinese character-tattoo and that there is still a slight stigma towards tattoos in China, but I have studied Chinese in China for a year and a half now, and I am certain that I want a tattoo to remember this amazing time by.
